The MARINA project (https://www.marinaproject.eu) is organising the workshop on the

 

“Institutionalization of Responsible Research and Innovation (RRI): what, who and how”

 

The workshop will allow reflections on:

 

• how engagement of societal actors into research and innovation may contribute to co-construct knowledge in support of evidence-based management, and

• how such approach (via research and innovation) can be institutionalized. With this workshop, we aim at facilitating RRI institutionalization, i.e. its establishment as a convention or norm in public policies in support (or developing) research and innovation.

 

Program

• 14:00-14:30. General introduction to RRI and its institutionalization

• 14:30- 16:00. Role game based on a real Maritime Spatial Planning issue for knowledge co-construction in support of evidence-based policies

• 16:00-17:30. A discussion panel between representatives of policy makers, RRI practitioners, international/national institutions
